And I thought me knowing where to find the above info was geeky. Have you ever visited AV-Forums ? There's a place for you there !

Edited to use the correct "there"

Great flick.

Hippy - "I give this a sphincter factor of about 9.5"

You could apply that to *all* of pslewis's posts.

Does the Special Edition version of The Abyss (DVD Region 2) contain the scene that shows the rat being trapped in that liquid oxygen stuff?

I know its on the Region 1 version but you cant buy that out of HMV.

Just checked detail on net. The scene wasn't cut as in removed but altered as detailed below.......

.......R2 - Includes both Theatrical and SE Cuts: 0m 45s - at the request of the British Veterinary Association. The scene where the rat is put into liquid oxygen was reframed and trimmed, as it appears to show an animal in distress.

R1, R2 Germany and R4 uncut. B@5t@rd5. Sorry if you've rushed out and got it and it's not what you want.

I'm a long serving member on AVForums.

Might pull that film out and watch it again tonight, haven't watched it in ages.

Cheers
