My mate took one to Malia on hols with us, It was the doggies, we were blasting out the tunes on a set of speakers and it did the job really well. and it looks really nice. Easy to use too, plus you can get a shedload of tunes on them.

Yes, basically 
It took me two weeks to realise I didn't need my CDs in the living room anymore, so they've all gone into a box. It's pretty cool having your entire collection with you wherever you go. The Windows software is poor though, very poor.

check out the Archos Jukebox Recorder 20 http://www.archos.com/products/prw_500279.html
I have one, very very good! Basically a hard drive! 20gb of space, and if your a techy minded person you can take it apart, buy a 100gb laptop hard drive and put it together, bingo, 100GB mp3 player!
Also there are quite a few "OS's" out there for it, just download one you like!
Never go anywhere without it!
