Can anyone point me in the right direction for the above? The pictures from space are awesome stunning. I just wish people weren't killed by these natural events

You want these images. Choose any, same image just different resolutions, from MODIS, the nicest of satellite imagery :
Satellite: Terra
Date Acquired: 2003-09-17
Resolutions:
1km (874.9 KB)
500m (2.8 MB)
250m (7 MB)
Bands Used: 1,4,3
