Blackhorse finance are not good. Full stop. I originally arranged finance with them for a motorbike earlier this year - three weeks after the application went in, I recieved a positive response. Six months later, and a test pass () I want something a little bigger, so I ring up 'the horse' to see what they can do for me. They agree to lend me 2000 odd, paying off the original debt and leaving me with 1000 to buy a bike with - all well and good so far. Here comes the shabby part. I have been waiting for the finance documents for a week so far, so I give them a quick bell to see what is going on etc - they apparently had my address incorrectly as 2 ***** road, instead of Flat 2, 9 ***** road.

Now the application process must begin again because I gave 'false' details I am not a happy bunny as I'm meant to be picking up the bike on saturday! There is no way the money is going to be there on time now.

Not pleased.

Insurance is only going to be 90 odd quid for the rest of the year tho

Damo

Just try dealing with the Woolwich - I'm borrowing quite a large sum against my mortgage from a second lender who sent authority forms to the Woolwich - who have been using delaying tactics for months. The most recent delay tactic is "they've lost them". So far its been over 3 months!!!

well, at least they sent the forms off Scooby96!
I wanted to set up the reserve account from the mortgage from them - I filled in the forms and took them to the branch who said it would be sent off that day. I phone the processing centre after 2 weeks (as advised by the branch) who have no record of it. Apparently the branch advisor's dad died (yes, damn good excuse!) and he had left BUT this was 2 weeks AFTER he should have sent the forms off. They then insisted on more payslips as salary proof - my arguement being that if they had done as they were supposed to, the July payslips would be irrelevant as at that time they wouldn't have been issued!!!
Have now had the stuff processed and money should be available (although way too late)about now. Managed to at least get the arrangement fee refunded though.
