Just wondered who you thought was doing the best Car Purchase Plan at the moment?

I know the Alliance and Leicester are always advertising theirs, but are there any other good uns you may have used in the past?

I'm thinking about doing this instead of straight finance when I change to keep the payments down a bit.

Are they always secured on the car? or can you obtain the finance and get a private sale?

Your thoughts and opinions are appreciated.

I had an A&L one and I would recommend them. No its not secured on the car because you can get the money before the car. I rang em on a Friday and had a 10K cheque on the mat the next day. You can then either pay the big installment at the end or take a further loan to pay that off. Good way if you're borrowing alot of cash and their rates are fairly competitive.
