I didn't know you were a carper. We must catch up as I really want to do Dream lakes next year.
Damn good result !
I fancy a 30 or two. Lots of 20s this year all off the top which is my favourite approach.
Well done

Gotta wait till my mate gets the photo`s developed as no digi cameras taken this year.
Fished Dream Lake1 this year and 4 last year.
Between six of us this year we had 43 fish and of course I caught the biggest ***** and carp
If you want to come we are trying to get 15 anglers for September next year so we can have the whole lake to ourselves so we can use bait boats the works!!
We have ten at the minute.
We had four fourties this year and a 39 so most of the fish were big.

Arron,
sounds like you had a cracking time
you'll have to put up the pictures when you get 'em.
I've always fancied a trip to Dream Lakes - you got me thinking about it last night - i spent half an hour or so on their web site !

Wasn't going to bother till I saw the pics.
Thread should be re-titled "Look at all the pointless suffering I inflicted on innocent wildlife on my holiday"
Not impressed.

You sad ****.
dont tell me you`ll be wanting to ban walking next.
Soon we wont be able to fart in peace.
You obviousley have no idea about carp and cat fishing and have no idea about the great lengths we go through NOT to inflict the pain and suffering you mention.
Go and pollish your mota.
The pictures are for the fisherman out there.

Well, that was easy.
I don't go to any lengths to 'avoid pain and suffering' on Carp 'cause I leave them alone
LOL

For sure the lakes are well stocked but I wouldnt call it an easy water.
I only had five fish all week!!!
Just happened to be whackers!!!
One guy had a total of 14 but between the six of us we mastered 43. That again isnt what I would call "easy"
There are a lot of thirties, fourties and I think 12 fifties and two sixties in Lake1.
The previous cat record was 87lb.
I reckon there are at least two other big nineties still in the lake. The 86 that was foul hooked in the tail the previous day and my 91 were transferred into lake 5 as is becomming a cat lake.
I caught the monster on 3 Maddocks pellets.
The carp fell to Mainline Diamond Whites boilies and Dynamite Baits Source boilies as I dont like to put all my eggs in one basket.
If any of you go carp fishing you will know it is sometimes far from easy.
The wind changed five times while we were there which I think affected the catch rate as the fish visibly followed the wind.
All baits were presented on the bottom.
Cheers.

Nice, ***** mate.
I caught my 1st cat in France this spring at 39lbs and the thing faught like mad, so a 91lb must have gone like a speed boat. Also caught Carps to 39.5 lb.
Went on a second trip to france this year to Etang de Vaumigny and my son and I caught loads of Sturgeon to 25lbs. Now there is a mad fish, jumping clear out the water 3 to 4 times whilst landing.
