ive had a scanner for years and allways switched it on for a laugh when im bored, cool to lixten to old bill etc, used to be a ble to listen in on mobile phones too which was well funny, although when it all went digital i believe the frequencys are a lot higher?
what do the networks operate on now? i used to be able to pick em up between 917.000mhz and 950.000mhz

You can't listen to digital phones unless you have about 60k to spare for the equipment.
When i had my old scanner i couldnt believe how many people called sex chat lines every other call. !!
