Look on the bright side - at least you'll have a valid / plausible excuse for failing, instead of just admitting you're a cr@p driver, and can't parallel park to save your life.

Same thing happened to me, my instructor passed me to a colleague a week b4 my test, wasn't happy & it didn't go well.
Brand new car should be ok as long as ya have a couple of hours practice, I had to go in a old 106 with a shagged clutch

Better a new car than an old one! I did my test in an old Nissan micra with 136,000 miles on the clock. It needed new points so bad it would stall if you didn't catch the revs every time you took your foot off the accelerator! Fortunately I only stalled it once in the car park and the examiner was good enough to realise it wasn't anything to do with poor clutch control!
Like others said, get as much practise as you can in the new car, it wont take long to get used to it.

A different car shouldn't make any difference at all. I take it you aren't going to bother with the bribe? Good choice.

The lesson before my test, the clutch started to slip on my instructors Metro so come the test day, it had a nice new clutch. Took a bit of getting used to as I'd only ever driven the one car, but I still passed.

Don't worry. I learned in a Metro and on the day of my test, my instructor turned up in an Escort cause his car had broken down! Had an hour driving then my test. Passed, no problem!!

Please take this as encouragement (this is the way it's intended), BUT.......
It shouldn't matter what car you're taking yor test in - they all operate the same way!
If you feel in way uncomfortable about taking a test in a different car, then I suggest that you're not ready to take the test anyway.... (in a nice way, honest!) and DON'T take it.
I'm invovled in Education, and the last thing I would do to "set my student up to fail" - totaly pointless.
If you are concerned, have a chat with your driving instructor
If it's a bigger car, take comfort from the great Jedi Master, Yoda "Size matters not" Just think "bigger"
Either way, I wish you the best of luck!!

Could be worse. You could be like "Poor Guy" and just be **** at the hazard perception test and never get to sit the test in any car
Where is he
