Funny thing is I received a plain postcard through the post this morning addressed to the occupier at my address.

On the reverse it says Please Call Martin.

Then a phone number with the 01482 code.

And a Mail ref no.

I don't know if this is some sort of scam or something, I have no dealings with anyone or anything in Hull, it also has a PO Box address.

I was thinking of ringing it from a phone box or sending it back with a note of what this is about.

Anyone have any ideas.

Expect to have won a "free" holiday which just requires you to sit through a grilling trying to sell you timeshare or to pay for the flights at an extortionate price.

Someone may correct this, but there is a number that you can dial (141?) before you dial the number that you want, that will withhold your number from being available to "Martin from Hull".

Sometimes debt collectors do this and ask for information about your neighbours etc ..

just bin it (like I do with 99% of stuff I get through the post)
