Widescreen TFT/LCD

Need a second set in bedroom as I can now no longer see the 14” one we have due to the advancing years 
A 28” or 32” widescreen CRT will just be way too bulky, so need a slim jim 17" ish TFT jobbie, but haven’t seen any 16:9 widescreen ones around (and am scared of prices if I do!).
This would seem to do the job and still leave me room to keep my socks – even a TFT computer mon with composite or RGB in would be fine as have a spare set of speakers/amp & it doesn’t need a tuner.

PS I had a mad thought of getting a video projector to light up the gap between the built in wardrobes, but doubt if I would get one for a few hundred quid?
