Looking for one of those yank juggernaut type air horns for my transit tipper!
live in my local village and know lots of people and am constantly tooting them as a way of greeting them during the day in my travels.

would be highly amusing .

does anyone know where i can get one from pls?

Calling Oliver........

He has got a huge one on his John Deer(tractor), its scarey.

He has linked it up to his air brakes for more PSI.

If he is brakeing whilst horning his brakes dont work.....

Scrapyard off a brit truck? My Dad worked at BT and had one off of a BT truck fitted to his mark 1 escort It was hilarious when the MOT tester asked him to sound the horn while he had his head under the bonnet I still remember that even though I was only about 5

alternatively try a chandlers! You should be able to get a dual trumpet two-tone boat horn for the roof of the cab!

from what i gather it is possible to fit certain types - hte guy at truck busters seemed preety confident he would be able to supply me with something - i explained the nature of my mischevous intent! - he managed a half hearted chuckle in a sort of hardened lorry drivers way!

of course it will work! Just make sure its for 12V not 24V, check the current required and fuse/relay adequately... do it! You can even get gizmos for boats that will periodically sound the horn in case you become fog bound!

never sorted it out.

TBH the guy was not all that helpful and never phoned me back as promised.

after that it got lost in the hectisness of day to day stuff.

up for doing it though!

air horns on trucks work with air you will need a compressor to make the ones you are thinking of work.

i have 1 on my ambulance it is rigged up to the air tank for the suspension

they are not strictly legal !!
