Went to a Horse show yesterday

@ Berkley Castle just north of Bristol. It was a big do with the big jumps for grown ups etc, and as we walked around, came across the Kiddy competition at the back of the field. Its scary how serious these kids parents take the whole thing. I found it more interesting watching the parents bollocking their kids that the competition itself

It's like any kids event thing, the parents take it way to seriously. Same as junior football, you get the fathers trying to be coaches, what *****! let the kids have a bit of fun.
As for the horse show, well, I've been to a few, as my friends sister competes in cross country events, jeez! that is scary, I'm not suprised horses fail to jump some of them, if I was a horse i'd take one look at 'the coffin' and say 'sod that jump!' and bugger off to the pub

What I also found scary was how little control some of the kids had of their mounts, more than once I saw the kids kick their steeds off in one direction only for them to career off into a crowd of people sat on the grass (with their mother yelling 'oh for god sake (insert childs name)' at them from the bonnet of her Range Rover in plumey yodelling tones )
