What a bunch of f*ckwits. I'd forgotten just how bad they were. Thank god that period has come and gone.

Come on Victor, it was good music.

Better than the boom boom crap and pre-fabricated **** that dominates the charts now.

I suppose much of it is age related.

Is Great ***** Of Fire Your type of film?

Cheers for the reminder, though, UB

God, listen to Damon Albarn trying to sound posh.

He still pronounces his THs as an F though.

A soundtrack to loads of drunken sex!

There you go UB.

Oasis were influenced by the Stones - a bit.

Mate, I was a ravin' with the best of them during this era. Sounds like you were still a student.

They were laughed at then for being talentless knuckle draggers. Nothing's changed. They're useless.

No I was in the RAF.

It's all age related.

Everyone has an era.

Mine's the Britpop one.

Raving was late 80s. Did that too.

Sounds like you were doing it with the oldies that bit too late, after it had lost its appeal and we'd all moved on.

No, we were staging the events and making money whilst you were merely a 'weekender'. Now *that* is a good indie tune if you know it.

Cool

Yes, Weekender by Flowered Up. You Britpop guys should take a close listen to that tune. It tells it like it is.

Thing is, it's not a very good tune!

I heard it last about 4 years ago and thought "not a good song".

Only my opinion, though.

Weekender 12" - Quality, its worth paying £4.99 for their greatest hits just for that track, quality video, always worth watching when mangled

Does anyone know if it will be repeated on BBC3?? as I only caught the last 40 mins.
