There are some decent pakages out there if you buy tickets to more attractions than you could possibly visit in 3 weeks.
Best bet is to buy there, what you want for when you want and not get caught up in the "must do everything" mentality.

Ive just come back from there 2 months ago and had an excellent time, I used this site below for links to getting my park tickets, I think it was a company called ticket mania saved about 70 quid buying 2 adults and 2 childrens hopper plus passes. If you need any advice thought the women Sue who runs this site is always more than happy to help and saved me a fortune booking my accomadation through her....I have no links to this company just good things to say

I've been told by several people that Busch Gardens is worthe going to. Am miffed that we didn't go (guess who didn't do their homework properly and find out more about the place ) but we didn't have time to do everything anyway.
The hopper tickets are useful - we got ours locally but if you want to be really picky, look at your travel agent, exchange rates etc.

Regarding Busch Gardens, my family and I drove over there from Orlando every year we went to Disney (5 times).
In our opinion Busch Gardens is as good as ANY other theme park-especially if you like the fastest/highest/most sophisticated rollercoasters (although have not beento new Universal ones).

I thought Busch Gardens was great!! Loads of cool roller coasters!
I haven't been for a few years but the last time I went we got a tour round the Budweiser factory and got a free sample!! Dont know if they still do this?

Busch Gardens is well worth going to, and I'll second Sean's comments about Discovery Cove. My wife and I went there last year for our honeymoon, and the one memory that will always stay in both of our minds is Discovery Cove. You will need to book in advance though to guarantee swimming with Dolphins, but, it is certainly an experience that you will never forget.
Make sure you go snorkelling with the Stingrays as well, as they are a lot bigger than I initially thought they were!

Went and done most of the main places in Florida in May of this year.
Busch gardens is good if you like roller coasters, has some of the biggest fastest etc that there is!
We found it is just as well to buy the tickets at the gate when you get there. Most places are about $50 to get in. Don't get involved with these places you see down international drive offering tickets really cheap as you will prob get dragged into some time share meeting or summat!
Didn't do discovery cove but I think its quite expensive and they only let so many people in or something??? Good place to go tho so I hear!
Have Fun.

Busch gardens is definately one of the best theme parks in florida. When i was there I spent more time in Busch than any other park apart from Seaworld and islands of adventure.
Plus you get a couple of free beers a day
