Hi,
I think I am about to be made redundant in the next few weeks and have been thinking about doing something completely different (I work in telecomms as a marketing manager - on the product side). Only thing is I don't know how to find out what sort of pay goes with what sort of job.

I really don't know what I want to do yet but guess that if an alternative came up in telecomms or similar then I would take it as it would be in the "comfort zone", however, I'm not ruling anything out just yet!

Is there a web site that lists various types of jobs and the kinds of salaries that go with them? I know that it can vary enormously accoring to experience etc. but I just need a feel for what to expect.

Cheers,
Darren.

PS - I have a wife, 2 kids, a mortgage and 3 cars to support as well as a serious "gadget habit"!

Best bet would probably be to try a few searches on www.jobserve.com and see what comes up.

Darren,

try reed.co.uk and thereabouts for an idea about salaries.
