Discrimination ?

What would you do if you saw only one specific type of person being recruited or promoted at work, not just once but time after time, cant go into detail but I must say I have say 'noticed a trend', I thought I was being petty but others have said the same to me.

Hard to comment without details
I failed the telephone interview for a job at B&Q. Having looked at it in more detail I reckon they will only ever employ "nice" people who follow orders to the letter and are smart enough to get to work on time. Does this discriminate against someone with common sense and initive?

I remember working for a large US based semi-conductor manufacturer and they didnt try to hide the fact that if you had a degree you had a much better chance of promotion, its was very blatant so much so that if it was race or sex based they would be in big trouble, I like to call it 'academic discrimination'!

Do you have proof other than your thoughts?
If you take this further will they know it is you who is doing it, if so are you bothered.
