they dont flow enough.. they are about 1/8th bsp or 1/8th npt..
I need circa 1/2" - 1" BSP or similar..
15mm dia hole would do.. such as washingmachine water valve (But they are 240v)

Try SMC Pneumatics, www.smcpneumatics.co.uk
They have a very good rep who works your area, he should be able to help you out.

Idle control valve off an old Vauxhall Astra , Cav, Calibra, easy to find on 8 valves on top, piped off inlet manifold, on a 16v its on the underside of the inlet manifold.
Nice and cheap from a scrap yard.

I cant think of any use for one, but perhaps some caravan or marine products ??? Most would use 12v, and you can get some pumps etc.
I also think that an old Audi80/90 used a 12v solenoid idle bypass valve, which was quite big.

do you want the valve to energise open or closed?
whats the medium?
maximum allowable pressure loss?
Also,do not assume you can mix n' match AC & DC coils and valve bodies - the internals of an AC solenoid differ from a DC - AC bodies are designed with 50HZ frequency in mind. If you stick an AC coil on a DC body it will just BUZZ...

the valve needs to open when 12v is applied to it..
medium is air.. at atmospheric pressure.. to do same function as an iscv but flow more..
trucks are 24v.
12v dc required..

I think the audi one would do what you need. I think the car I seen was an old Audi 90 Quattro, 2.2 N/A saloon.
What about a stepper motor on the throttle, or a solenoid to open it slightlty??

Long shot but try Controls Center which is part of PlumbCenter( all over the UK ) which I'm pretty sure they would have some sort of 1" BSP gas valve solenoid.
