Again apologies for the source of this

Note the part where she says "I find it very difficult to get around because I can’t judge distances.
“I used to just shoot across the lanes and pray — but I had several near misses so I decided it would be easier for everyone if I began parking the car and taking the bus the rest of the way"
My advice would be that she should hand in her driving licence and get the bus all of the way. People like this are a menace and a perfect example of the type who should be banned from driving.

I know that roundabout very well. Think she does need some extra lessons if that one worries here.
Cheers

Jeez how pathetic is that.. reminds of that woman who was scared of turning right (across traffic) so she had to make several left turns to get where she wanted to be... stooooooooooopid

Love the one in Hemel, many years ago there were 2 tower blocks with a gantry over one of the exits that you used to be able to drive under. Then one side sank by 3ft... Owners blamed the tennants (BP), tennants blamed the builders, builders blamed the architects and the whole thing was pulled down and is now a bus interchange, waste ground and a set of new residential flats....
Driving on that roundabout really make you feel in touch. You appreciate every moment mainly because it could be your last moment alive!

Hemel one is quality. Quickest way round is what your instinct says is 'the wrong way' ie anticlockwise. 90% of traffic goes the other way.

wonder if the sales blurb for the new flats have mentioned that its good, free entertainment from your flat to watch the near misses that happen on a minute by minute basis!
all from the comfort of your balcony and chilled wine!
