Had a 32 page "Discussion" with MyCroft on torque converters and fluid couplings.
He just can't accept there is the slightest possibility he is wrong. When it starts to look like he is wrong he starts with the personal insults.
I'll never get into another "Discussion" with him, its just not worth it.

have I missed a post, or is Mycroft totally ignoring the fact that the adhesion/grip/friction coefficient (call it what you will) will be subject to the centripital force acting upon the vehicle when cornering.
The centripital force will of course be subject to the mass of the vehicle.

Mycroft is a dumbass with a poor understanding of physics. He has obviously read a few pages on the internet, misunderstood, and is now trying to "share" his misinformation with any BBS who will humour him.

Apparently, he wrote on 22B.com that he gets frustrated because it takes him ages to type a post.....you'd think with the amount of time he spends on the net that he would be able to type with some profficiency.
I doubt he gets much sun.....maybe some vitamin D would bolster him up a bit and turn his cranky ways.

I had a pal who, when he attended a particularly boring business meeting, would sometimes discretely pass a business card to the guy who was talking at the meeting. This would often change the tone of the meeting.
I eventually asked my pal what was on the card. He passed it to me and it read:
"I am a pretty good bull$hitter myself but I really appreciate listening to a professional - please carry on......"
Now what reminds me of this I wonder DL

No, the SBD bloke was proven wrong [Mathematics Degree, Manchester 1990], but there was no need for all the needling.
I work with bigot like that.
MAD.
