spanner75 31 July 2003 02:35 PM

better to say nothing and be thourght stupid than gob off and prove the point ,not seen mycroft on here for a while , can't say he is missed.

ex-webby 31 July 2003 02:40 PM

OK, ok...

Let's not start that off again. :)

davyboy 31 July 2003 02:47 PM

I am following it with interest :)

logiclee 31 July 2003 02:54 PM

Had a 32 page "Discussion" with MyCroft on torque converters and fluid couplings.

He just can't accept there is the slightest possibility he is wrong. When it starts to look like he is wrong he starts with the personal insults.

I'll never get into another "Discussion" with him, its just not worth it.

have I missed a post, or is Mycroft totally ignoring the fact that the adhesion/grip/friction coefficient (call it what you will) will be subject to the centripital force acting upon the vehicle when cornering.

The centripital force will of course be subject to the mass of the vehicle.

Mungo 31 July 2003 03:54 PM

Mycroft is a dumbass with a poor understanding of physics. He has obviously read a few pages on the internet, misunderstood, and is now trying to "share" his misinformation with any BBS who will humour him.

StickyMicky 31 July 2003 03:54 PM

mycroft is a legend
lol

revitt 31 July 2003 04:13 PM

If you ignore what Mycroft is saying the thread is a fascinating read. Loads of interesting information

scooby_si 31 July 2003 04:46 PM

yeah but it would only fit on a few pages without mycrofts BS ;) quite a indepth read thou even if most of it did go over me head ;) lol

turboman786 31 July 2003 05:18 PM

Mycrsoft should get out more......mind you if I drove a ****ty soararse Id stay at hom too....

ALi-B 31 July 2003 05:19 PM

I'm actually in shock that he only mentioned his Soarer ONCE throughout the whole thread!!! :D

jjones 31 July 2003 05:50 PM

does this belong in general?

ALi-B 02 August 2003 12:34 PM

Mods are moving this thread like pass the parcel :D

Along comes a mod and says "No, this does'nt belong in general...lets move it to Muppets".
Then along comes muppet mod and moves it N.S.R

Make up your minds! :D  :D :p :D

ALi-B 02 August 2003 12:39 PM

He's mention Soarers 4 times now... and counting

He was egged into it though, so I'll let him off :D

andrewdelvard 02 August 2003 12:54 PM

It's really interesting how Mycroft slowly but surely starts to generate personal insults. He really feels that vulnerable about himself.

Dastardly 02 August 2003 12:57 PM

Apparently, he wrote on 22B.com that he gets frustrated because it takes him ages to type a post.....you'd think with the amount of time he spends on the net that he would be able to type with some profficiency.

I doubt he gets much sun.....maybe some vitamin D would bolster him up a bit and turn his cranky ways. ;)

Paul .G 02 August 2003 04:04 PM

Amazed...

Gordo 02 August 2003 04:22 PM

haha - we're still talking about him! :)

David Lock 02 August 2003 06:34 PM

I had a pal who, when he attended a particularly boring business meeting, would sometimes discretely pass a business card to the guy who was talking at the meeting. This would often change the tone of the meeting.

I eventually asked my pal what was on the card. He passed it to me and it read:

"I am a pretty good bull$hitter myself but I really appreciate listening to a professional - please carry on......"

Now what reminds me of this I wonder :D DL

MooseRacer 02 August 2003 07:28 PM

I see Claudius is still following him around like a little puppy

Vinegar. 02 August 2003 07:39 PM

Now you see why we banned him from the Supra forum, he has made that SBD bloke look like a right fecking idiot and is going round all the other car sites telling everyone.

MAD.

scooby_si 02 August 2003 08:17 PM

how's SDB look a prat on that thread, surely you have your names mixed up? ;)
Si

Vinegar. 02 August 2003 08:26 PM

No, the SBD bloke was proven wrong [Mathematics Degree, Manchester 1990], but there was no need for all the needling.

I work with bigot like that.

MAD.

J4CKO 02 August 2003 08:49 PM

SBD

Silent But Deadly ?

Will actually read the thread when I have two full days with nothing to do....

zoog 02 August 2003 09:10 PM

Don't bother...Mycroft is just an Asperger's psychopath, simple as that.

andrewdelvard 02 August 2003 10:51 PM

Eh?
Are you saying Mycroft is correct?

logiclee 02 August 2003 11:13 PM

Vinegar

So the Chief Engineer of Prodrive is wrong as well then?

Some how I don't think David Richards hires people who don't know what they are on with.
