It seems McRae and Burns et al aren't above the law.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/3108065.stm

Can someone make it clicky, I'm a luddite.

Reigning world champion at the time, Richard Burns was accused of breaking the speed limit five times - going over 30mph, 40mph, 50mph, 60mph and 70mph.
Tut tut Richard.

I bet it is causing a few headaches in the processing department, with drivers of different nationalities driving cars registered in different countries!

How cool would it be to have a signed copy of Burn's Pug going through a speed camera!

Angry

Now if they had any sense the WRC Organisers would tell Wales where to stick the Championship and go to another country that wasn't Policed by Car hating idiots like Brunstorm.

Then it could help the message get through that they are driving people away from Wales and lossing it a lot of money in the process.

At least it high lights how none of these limits have any credibility for anybody but the people who gain financially from them being set so low.

Schwarz's lawyer Glenda Owen said he faced disqualification from driving on the points "totting up" procedure.

"Disqualification would lead to exceptional hardship for himself and the Hyundai team he drives for," she told the court.
I doubt this very highly. I'd agree it may be a little inconvenient, but to me "exceptional hardship" means selling your house and living in a council flat eating cup-a-soup and I doubt neither Armin nor the Hyundai team are facing that considering there's only one event in the UK.

I bet Brunstrum is rubbing his hands with glee, the obnoxious little gnome (IMHO)
