Here's some more Kwality aviation
Video was shot out in Oman - aircraft are Omani Jaguars being flown by RAF pilots on loan service to the Omani Air Force. The low flying regulations are rather, er, different out there - or at least they were
Jag 1
Jag 2
Pay attention in the last clip - the last aircraft to fly through is just a blur. It's at about the same level as the parked aircraft.....
Something like this in fact:
It's all good fun, until somebody loses an eye....
Or perhaps, the roof of their car...?
Pilot driving into work got, er, "overtaken" by a colleague....who was, erm, a little lower than he thought...

Saw a lengthy video a few years ago along the same lines (we used to have the Jag OCU near me) A guy who worked for BAE in Oman did a video show at the aeromodelling (I know!) club I was in then, was filmed in a deserted town that looked like somethin out of a western where they flew down the main (only) street, nasty if you happen across a camel!?

The F14 vid posted by Pete is of one going transonic - through the sound barrier. You don't always get the condensation cone forming, it all depends on the density/humidity etc of the air.
This is a classic shot of an F/A-18 doing the same thing.....

The link's on Pprune (Scoobynet for pilots ) too so I guess it may have been bombarded a bit over the last few days and they've pulled it, sorry.
I've uploaded it onto some free webspace of mine - don't know how it'll cope with streaming but you could just download it

Check out how unstable that F14 gets when it's hitting the sound barrier. Truly frightening and something I think I'd avoid doing at low level within 50 yards of an aircraft carrier!!!

Thats a fascinating shot of the F18 Simon, it illustrates that post of mine about transonic flight and shockwaves when Billbill was talking about TV dives in the Spitfire.
No I was never on Loan service but nearly all my service flying was at low level and in the real case we would have been at those levels for the whole trip in enemy territory.

What did you fly Les?
Done a bit of LL myself - the odd det in FI throwing harness packs at Penguins out of the back of Albert, a bit of smashing around the UKLFS plus a short time on rotary

About 29 different types Simon, but most of the low level in Canberras, Meteors, Vulcans,Hawk, JP, Tornado,Hunter,Varsity?,
You are a brave man if you ever stood in front of the hole in the back of Albert, I've had the occasional go in a chopper, great fun but it made me work a bit! I'd have enjoyed a go in Albert though.
