Bird-Shoot!

There's a very anoying bird near to where I live. Every morning it tweets bluddy loud for ages. Its ok in the week but on weekends when I don't wish to wake up too early.....
It appeared this morning at about 0730. I looked out of the bedroom window and the little fat **** was hopping across my front lawn tweeting like B-Jesus. So I threw a 2-pence at it. It flew off but returned about 10mins later.
If only I still had some darts for my Ninja Blowpipe.
Does anyone think I would get done if I shot it (I've not got a gun)?
Advice please.
Nick

I've got a life, thanks. A very happy one too.
Just trying to have a laugh on a Sunday morning mate.
Judging from the number of posts you have put up I think its you who needs to "get a life"

Ok Ok. Sorry. Trouble with writing posts is that they can be read in a way that the author did not intend.
Apart from the cr4p I wrote this morning I do use this BBS to get a lot of help with every-day problems as well as Scoobies.
Take care

It's probably a parent blackbird like the one resident in my back garden at present. Just had two chicks a little while back and they are now mobile. Mummy blackbird is constantly on patrol scouring the garden for preditors. If she sees any threat she lets rip with the most ear-shattering screeches. Can't blame her. Have you got kids? Ever seen them threatened?
It won't last much longer, they should be almost airborne by now, then they'll be off to leave you to your much desired peace and quiet.
And yes, my blackbird has nearly driven me bonkers some morings at 4am etc. Just be patient, they'll soon be gorn.

WHat bird is it?
If it's a british song bird don't shoot it.
If it is UK vermin you can shoot it, provided the pellet of your airgun doesn't leave your boundry of your garden.

Hey everyone, guess what.....
"I don't want to shoot it really"
I've just never heard a bird tweet so loud.
Its a real fat black-bird for those who are interested.
