How many mm's of tread does a brand new Michelin Sport tyre have?

I've been offered some 'nearly new' Mich Sports...with 7mm tread on them.....is 7mm of tread 'nearly new'?.....

I don't know exactly but I'd say 7mm was very nearly new, have a look and check for the bobbly bits on the shoulders

New tyres generally have 8mm.
These tyres are incredible in the dry but be very careful of Michelin Sports in the wet
Now if we were talking about Michelin Sport Cups...

As Pete says ~ I've seen new tyres quoted as 8mm - 8.2mm.
