Anyone got one?
What do you think to it? Lots of false alarms? Detects the Radar/Laser guns okay?
About to buy one, but still not sure...don't want to spend >£200

Stealth,
The snooper SR should still suffer from false alrams though, as it has (probably?) the same superhetrodyne scanning receiver as the SD815.
What does it have different that stops the false alarms?

For Gatsos, any of the GPS-based kit is much more dependable and has the added benefit of alerting you to Truvelos, average-speed cameras, etc., which don't emit radar or laser. For hand-held radar, the Snooper is fine - you might even get some warning if they're using it before you come into view. For laser, probably useless - may not even beep even if you're targetted because the spread of the beam is so narrow (only around 10cm at 800m iirc). You get used to the false alarms - shop door openers, traffic light sensors, mobile phone masts, etc. - but these are still useful if you check your speed whenever it beeps. I have an SD815iS but it's currently in the glove box, the Road Angel is much more useful on the roads I drive.
