I've been with Vodafone for ages, and it's coming up to new phone time.
I've always had 600 free off peak mins and 50 free texts but from what i can see on the Phones 4U website, there's nothing even close to that anymore.
Phones 4U won't just upgrade my phone for free, so it's cheaper to disconnect and buy a new contract, but those tariffs are crap.
I want to stick with Vodafone as most of my pals are with them.
What now ?

Go with Orange and ask them to match your tarrif, they don't actively promote this but they'll do it.

Basically they match any tariff you ask them to.

Orange won't match every tarrif.

When I left Orange to go to 02 they said they'd match it if I stayed with them, until I told them the deal I was getting with 02.

02 give 500 off peak mins, 50 cross network mins, 500 wap minutes and 500 texts for £20 per month.

Orange wouldn't match it but offered 500 mins and 100 texts for the same price.

Crap.

I think i fancy the Nokia 6100. I love tiny phones My present Panosonic GD67 feels a bit fat compared to my previous GD92. There's a thought - maybe i'll just get a new screen for the 92
