Hi Guys,

I have bought a flat and I can't seem to be able to get any sort of sky TV

There is no NTL/Telewest up there, and the poxy landlord wont let me install a dish on his precious fecking wall

Just wondered if anyone had any solutions,

Thanks in advance

does the flat have a balcony ??.

if so if it is facing the right way, you can mount it flat on the deck of the balcony, landlord cant stop you from doing that.

I would sugeest finding a local supplier that would do it or the normal sky bloke will charge you all sorts as it is not part of the "standard" installation.

or by a dish on ebay and an old box and see if you can get it going yourself.

a mate has a load of terrecot pot plants round his and you cant see it at all.

I've seen a sky dish fixed to a chair and pointing out of a window. Guess it depends if you've got a window facing the right(ish) direction with a clear view of the sky.
