Heres my Trev!! Was told he was a Rotweiiler cross Dobermann. Now not so sure. Looks like a black and tan labrador to me!! Depends on what angle you catch him at as to what he looks like!! My other half thinks he's rotty cross GSD!! What do you think?!

LOL! Yes! Mind you, he steals any item of clothing you leave lying around!
We are training him at the minute and he's really clever but can be stubborn. He's also very protective of me and my son (not my boyfriend though!!). He's a very dominant dog so we are constantly battling to keep him in check but even with that, he's a real babe!!
Edited to add - Bravo, I know what you mean about the dogs head being solid! Trev keeps nutting me by accident! Bloody huts no end!!

There's definitely Doberman in him, look at the gangly legs, and the ears look just like my friends dobeys. If you want their ears to stick up like you see in films, you have to pin them.

I'd never pin his ears! Infact, i'd never pin any dogs ears, it's barbarric, have you seen how they actually do it?! (plus it's illegal over here isn't it?!)

Cris, the ears need to be cut for them to stick up, and yes it is totally illegal in the UK to carry out this practice, even an imported dog with cut ears can't be shown in the UK.

Looks like a labrador/doberman cross to me, again another one who says those ears are definately labrador ears!
Doesn't seem to be bulky enough to have Rotty in him, legs too slim and as a Labrador is normally stocky as well I would guess that he would be a lot more stocky all over if he was Labrador/Rotty cross.

Well what a poser - '...and straight down the lens honey'!
I reckon there is a bit ot Rottie there you know - the mouth and the tan markings? Must have been a black lab in there too?

Red,
There is definately Rottie in there - can see it in the skull structure.
A lab/dobie cross would have a much narrower head and more pointed nose as labs have narrower heads than rotties.
the ears are pure rottie, but a little large in relation to the head size.
Long legs suggest dobie, attitude suggests rottie..LOL...
So I'd say he's a rottie/dobie cross as you originally thought.
Anyway, here's the definative test.
Does he steal socks?
LOL

All this talk of Labradors, mine died about 5 years ago and still miss him massively Have a plaque in my parents garden, he was a valued member of the family. Some people will never understand that concept I know and think they are just a fluffy pet
Still remember hitting my head with his as I bent down to put his bowl on the floor, and it was like concrete, nearly gave me concussion, he just sat their dribbling as usual
One day I'll have another one
