Don't care on that I refused to have a compnay mobile for ages (and would not give them my personal number) and when they made me have a company mobile I used to leave it every night in my drawer at work.

What a content-free web-site it is at mapAmobile
Click on "How mapAmobile works", and it, er, doesn't tell you how it works
Perhaps one of the most important things is how accurate the system is. Well according to the web-site it is, er, "Subject to information from the networks, location accuracy may vary between urban and rural areas". They don't even hint as to whether it is accurate to feet or to tens of miles
Basically, most of the web-site concentrates on telling you how to spend your money with them, but doesn't actually tell you what they provide
Go to the "About MI International" section, and read a load of content-free drivel with no hard facts.
Oh, and why does the web-site use a secure server (HTTPS) to give you basic information. It doesn't have a reason to use HTTPS apart from wanting to know your actual IP address should you (as most people are) be hidden behind a proxy server - more big brother
I think that i might give this "technological breakthough" a miss

Hello
As I just posted to another thread, many years ago this technology was accurate to 40 or 50 meters. It depends on the number of base stations within a given area as to how accurate it can be. Which is why there is a difference between rural / urban areas.
We were working with companies that were looking to target people with coupons on their mobile phone as they walked past certain stores.
Steve.
