Bit of cardboard + BMX wheel spokes = at least 10mph faster.

The effect was too short lived for my liking. You could reverse the card once it had bent though, but that would only work for perhaps one or two reversals

OldFart: you should have stayed on to the sixth form and you'd have studied the following equations:

Impreza + VTA dumpvalve - depreciation = slit wrists
porsche 911 - depreciation =

This early test would set the future for calculating how long UK Impreza brake discs might last

edited to say - we used clothes pegs and rubber bands
