Just seen the above movie and it really sucks.
It's the most hopelesly and off-topic movie I've ever seen.

It puts us, fast car drivers in an even more bad daylight then before.
Here in Belgium we only have Subaru's, but I can imagine what it would be driving a Skyline or EVO 7 over here, just a standard model will be enough to wake up the dogs...


There is already a hype here about street racing, problems on the TUV certificate if wheels, suspension kits and so on and now it will become more difficult to change something on your car or even drive it.

PS : The most fabulous car related movies for me are : Le MAns with STeve McQueen and Ronin with Robert De Niro...

..got The Italian Job 2 turning up on DVD today but I have a feeling it'll never match the original..

i quite enjoyed the film, however it lost the techy feel from the first film, which is what i liked.

Also the best part was driving out the cinema and having all the novas, fiestas and corsas racing each other up to my boot, only to dissapear into the distance, when i put my foot down!

Its worse than the first? Damn that must have taken some doing, the first was probably one of the worst films I have *ever* seen.

Also I dont agree with the often quoted 'its all abit of fun' blah blah blah, something like a bond film you suspend belief but enjoy the film but something like F&F is soooo bad you cant even enjoy it on a throw away level (IMHO)
