First Aid courses

Even the voluntary services like to charge
Best bet if you just want to know a bit of resus and emergency stuff is a night school course. Normally around £40 for something like 6 evenings and will teach you all you want to know to help at RTA's etc.
Or you could hire me, I am a first aid trainer

I have done the St John's course(Free Training)
I was told at the end of the course that if i were to administer first aid and that person was to die then I could be sued
Be Warned everyone

There's also really inexpensive insurance (something like £5 for 3 years) so you're covered if someone sues.
Mind you, St John had a suit against them locally for ripping some woman's blouse when they had to defib her. At least she was alive to try and sue!
