Oh dear, I have tears rolling down my cheeks....

Bruccie hosting Have I got News For you. WTF It was sooo funny with all the parodys of his old shows... Merton was in stitches and Hislop non-plussed.

Forsythe - "I can't believe I'm doing this"
Merton - "Niether can I"

PMSL What a classic.

I have to agree, very funny indeed. Loved the conveyor belt bit and the audience's cheer when the cuddly toy came through. Brilliant

P.s. Though HIGNFY audience would be too high brow, but they jolly well weren't!

Oh I see..

As an abbreviation, it didn't really save much time in the end, given that you had to explain it to me.. LOL

Watched Jim C for about 5 seconds. The man is full of himself and came across as a tw@t.

Shame as some of his films are quite funny.

Its the only HIGNFY that i have watched without Deayton. I thought it was good but a bit cringey, i like Forsyth, u could see he was very nervous doing the show since his lay off from ITV. It was a good change for him to go back to doing what he does best, but its deffo not shows like HIGNFY on a regular basis, once was good but not more lol. He good in his own format and i hope he continues in his tv career. Despite being 70? he managed to virtually shut up all 4 people on the panel, no mean feat on a programme like this!

I thought it was a sidesplitter, takes a real pro' to be able to carry that off, especially with the likes of Hislop and Merton to contend with. They won't forget that one in a hurry. I was not that impressed with Jim C though.

I thought Forsythe looked out of his depth to begin with and the gags looked like they where read off of the Autocue, which they are. He seemed to get more comfortable as he went on. Chairing HIGNFY is a daunting task with some of the sharpest wits in the business in Merton and Hislop.

I have enjoyed some of the other presenters such as Haig, Clunes (WHO WAS FAB) but Deayton was king.

The conveyor at the end was predictable and cringworthy, would have expected that on the dumbed down American version.
