Unhappy

The ****ing things are all over at the moment Its getting beyond a joke, so need something to stop it.

The Bel Target LRC 100 jams laser, so that may do it? I get the feeling a detector wont pick them up, as they get you when you've gone past them. Also, the beam spread is probably quite narrow.

Ive always thought a GPS gatso detector and a jammer would be the best combo.

Any ideas?

Good website.

Would like to know it the Target 100 jams the mobile buggers. Dont see how if it only has one detector head on the front of the car.

The S6 NEO looks like a good package.... Is that a good price?

Just fitted Snooper SLD920 on mine for this reason, have the S5 aswell for Gatso's.Cant really assure you that the 920 works yet as I have only had it fitted couple of days and haven't passed any mobile camera's yet so haven't had a peep out of it,still driving round trying to find one now just to make sure it is working and alerts me,typical, when you want to see one theres none around, normally everywhere down here!!Igot it after seeing on another thread not long back it has been tested against all laser guns used and none could get a reading, time will tell.

Cool

Dark Blue Mark:
I have road Angel with laser, works a treat with a standard laser gun tested it out with the Black Spot interactive.

Tested it on a road safety van and did not get a reading on six passes.

now don't tell me a jammer would be any better cos you have to detect the beam first

It could be down to this, the seed camera van uses a 600mm lens this might lower the spread of the beam or perhaps they have tweaked the beam out side detection range

any ideas or thoughts????

Has anybody detected a speed camera van with a Road Angel???

Wink

the road angel laser add on is IMO pointless as all laser detectors kuz if they r zapping u & u get buzz or wotever warning yer too late already! Jammer is only defence (other than never speeding) against lasers init. Gatsos etc r easily beaten by detectors & GPS jobbies but my understanding is laser detection is pointless blocking on the other hand

Ajax-think the camera vans use infra red beams. Therefore not picked up by radar detectors. As i have just found out in Wales

Going to try the not signing NIP loophole to see what happens

GavM:

Best reply, so you did not pickup the radar, what device did you try to detect it with.

I think they have modified the beams in the Road Safety Vans

So that detectors and jammers wont work!
