Theres always going to be hot hatches which have had 1000's spent on them which will just beat a UK scoob on the 1/4. They're few and far between. (Fortunately I used to have a scooby eating 5 ), but for the money I spent I should of just bought a "proper" performance car in the first place. Oh well, we live and learn.

I used to have a scooby and they are great cars but they are not the best in the twisties, a straight line, etc.

Sometimes you will have to conceed to a better car. No matter what it is.

Just live with it. If someone has built a better car than yours and it beats you then take you hat off to them and admit defeat.

I used to kick around the Mini scene a few years ago and I have seen 2.0 ltr V-Tec Mini's that have been seriously modded and would make a scooby look stupid in a straight line and in the twisties(tm).

I am glad that I no longer own a scooby as the attitudes of some people on here is getting out of hand. Some people here believe that their cars are the best thing since sliced bread. They are not.

There will always be something faster, more expensive, etc around the corner. Modesty is a great atribute some here should try adopting this.

My dad is 65 years old and drives a Skyline. Not because it's fecking fast, or that he wants to pummel Scoobies, Corsas, Novas, etc but because he loves the car for all of it's qualities.
