Don't let yer cat eat toads

After rushing the cat to the vet foaming at the mouth the vet charged us 50 quid to tell us that it had been attacked by a toad, apparently they have serious protective venom!

My parents Jack Russell used to eat toads and suffered the same foaming mouth problem.
We've now got cats who eat frogs, the only problem they don't always finish them and we find bits of frog lying around the house. Nice.

my cat has a habit of bringing a rabbit a day into the house, and 'playing' with it, until its broke, and in several pieces, and my conservatory is now full of birds, fish, mice, rabbits, & now frogs !!!

We once lumbered a couple of our friends with looking after our cats whilst we were on holiday.
One day they could hear a strange crunching noise coming from out in the hallway - it was one of our cats *carefully* crunching into a king size (it was apparently about an inch long )Bumble Bee.
It apparently eat the lot with no side effect !

Slightly off topic but a few years ago, we lived next door to a young couple who doted...I kid you not.....on their Hamster. It had all the latest bells and whistles and was generaly spoilt.
You couldn't have a conversation with them without the Hamster (called Eric) being a part of it....I reckon they couldn't have kids....I digress.
One morning on my carpet, I saw a ginger and red fluffy thingy by the front door with our moggy prodding it and looking chuffed.
Somehow the cat had (rather cleverly) managed to sever Eric clean in half at the waist and devoured the **** end. The remains could have been nicely stuffed and mounted.
It took a good couple of minutes to realise through a process of elimination and probability that this was indeed Eric.
They moved shortly afterwards and we have lost touch.
