Steam Cleaner - Best One?

I've used a few but a Polti is the best all-rounder I've found. They're not cheap, but they are very good and I now own one.
If you just need it for one specific application, it may be better to look at hiring one - especially if what you want it for a fairly demanding task. Hire places tend to have the bigger, more serious pieces of kit, and cleaners sold for home use are often a bit "wussy" in comparison.
I can't comment on the effectiveness of steam cleaning grout because I haven't tried.
edit: I find the most effective thing for cleaning tiles is Viakal. Coat the tiles with it, leave for a few minutes and then clean off with a non-scratch kitchen scouring pad. Don't, of course, try this if the tiles have designs on which could be damaged.

if you decide to get a steamer, maybe you would consider buying mine
its near enough brand new, only used 2 or 3 times i think
can't remember the make, its got all the attachments, hoses etc will have a look later and take some pics if you want
cost me £50 new
