cheapest place for aircon refill in the south?

Scooby Regular
Not sure about down south, but I was talking to my next door neighbour yesterday about Air Con, as he owns his own garage, and is an Air Con specialist too
Anyway I asked how much to regas, and he said its a strange one, cos its what ever you can charge
ie if someone with a Fiesta comes in, it will be about 45 quid to regas, if someone with a Jag comes in it will be about 85-90 quid
He said it is really all down to the owner who comes in on the day, and depending on what car they have got, as he told me it should really be about 80 quid, but a lot of people dont value the air con that high, and refuse to pay 80-90 quid (cue Fiesta 1.1 drivers, his example not mine)) but he said that if a Jag, Lexus etc etc comes in, the owner would expect to pay about 80-90 quid
At the end of the day, he makes a judgement on the person wanting the refill, and would sooner get 50 quid, than not get 80 quid
I know where im gonna go in future

Any half decent refrigeration and air conditioning company should be able to do it. They'll usually be the people the garage call in, but be cheaper because the garage hasn't added their 'fees'

I am near brighton and can top up your system if thats any good !Normaly they shouldn't need it unless they have a leak ,how big the leak is the problem but if its really bad a leak detection agent can be put into the system and then hopefully it will show up.
