Ahhh... I remember those days....
A sack of spuds..... and a can of hairspray...... or some other dodgy aerosol.... hours of amusement..
wot barrel diameter size u go for? I think the 50mm one worked best on mine.

Showed up at my parents place last Sunday for a test firing.
Donned all my motorbike gear in case it exploded in my hands and set off down the garden in the rain....
Dad watching in disbelief from the conservatory.
1st shot, about 2 second's worth of spray of my chosen propellant, click and whoomphpop! a slug of spud disappeared toward the horizon! Sweeeet!
Confident it's not going to blow my arms off now, I move out of the rain to the conservatory and feel brave enough remove my helmet.
2nd to about 8th shots are much the same, Spray...Giggle...click...whoomphpop! Fall about laughing
Then I got the mixture right
Basically I must have been putting way too much propellant in and it was burning relatively slowly.....I guess I put about a 1/4 of the original amount in on the last one.
Spray....Giggle...Cli..KABOOOOOOM!! Jebus!! my right forearm is killing me, my ears are ringing, and I didn't even see the spud go!
A quick check proves I'm actually still intact, as is Dad, (though holding ears, and looking less impressed now) and are all the conservatory windows, Phew!
I had some nasty red marks on my arm from the flying bits of plastic and that was through my bike jacket It would have been much more messy had I not still been wearing it.
Damage to the gun was only a completely destroyed end cap which has now been replaced, but will be beefed up before I give it another go
Krazy, my barrel is 40mm.

How many of you had the cap-fired version of the "spud-gun", as kids then? I never went anywhere without mine:
Then, as a teenager, we "invented" the slug gun, which fired real live( at the start, but not once fired: ) slugs from our gardens, and used bonfire night bangers as propellant. You DID NOT want one of those babies impacting on you from less than 10 yards, I can tell you
