Scotch Corner 104mph pulled by the cops.
"Sorry officer, I know I was speeding. I should have known better after spending so many yeas as a Special."
*** NO POINTS AND ONLY A £60 FINE!!! ***
I on the other hand got 6 points and a £250 fine for doing 107mph just up the road on the A69!
Rant rant rant etc
Still he has to put up with her now which I don't heh heh.

Consider yourself lucky aswell, although not as lucky as him.
7yrs ago I was flashed by a layby camera on the A69 ' 104mph, and was banned for 6months, despite speeding to the premature birth of my daughter![img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img]

Defiant: She was actually fit and healthy when she was born, developed and ready for the world 3 weeks early, of course we/I had no idea that would be the case at the time, hence why I was booting it home from work!
To be fair, in that instance the police obviously weren't aware of my situation, but the magistrates decided my circumstances were irrelevant and thru the book at me[img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img] I think I was fined over £300 as well, which was also just what I needed with a new baby!

Just goes to show the law is sometimes a vast grey area.
The police will do their job of booking you for speeding,
(or in some cases maybe not).
Its the courts that decide who gets what, but it alsways seems
to be the "fuzz" that get the stick. (No connection with law
enforcement whatsoever)
Commiserations with disco on their decision for his case, i know we
would all have done the same.
