Tried search but couldn't find it so.... how many free SMS messages do you get with o2. The send page says 30 free texts, but is that per day, per week, per month?

I saw a thread on it the other day but can't find it now.

yes for a while they gave the sims away free.
They now charge £9.99 for them

10 a month is the only credit it requires in order to gain the 300 free txts
I have one in a second handset-quite useful

I've still got my origonal Genie sim card, with unlimited free text messages on £10 a month - PAYG. I kicked off when the changed to 300 a month, but they replied atating as long as you don't completely take the **** they will honor the original offer. Saved me a paket over the past couple of years.
