The birth of my little girl last year inspired me to get my paint brushes out again..

Here's the picture I did. It's about 4x3 foot and is going to look pretty cool in the hall.. What do you think?

Cheers Funkii... It's the first thing I've painted for about 15 years, other than walls and fences... I really enjoyed the process, much more so than I ever remember doing before. Thinking about getting my portfolio up to date and trying for a few shows, commissions etc..

Bang on Nimbus.. I'm a keen photographer in both black and white and colour.. I had this great Black and white shot that I wanted to make a little more 'extreme'.. I'm currently doing one of the scoob where the background is b&w and the car is in shades of blue.. I really go for this monochrome effect...

Dabbled in watercolours a few years back. Prefer pencil sketching myself, but don't really have much time for it...

Can't do watercolours...I like something to daub on... It is amazing how much time it can take-up.. I think that's why I enjoy it more now.. I have more patience and acceptance of how long something will take. Lots of part finished boards to re-cycle though!
