Anyone see it. It was showing how firms in Holland sell chicken fillets to the UK that are pumped up with water. Some contained as much as 49% water. They also use pig and cow proteins in the chicken to allow more of this water to be absorbed. Not very nice for Moslems or Hiundus then is it.

Stuff seemed to be mostly sold to restaraunts and supermarkets.

After seeing it Im glad I dont buy meat from supermarkets but from a decent butcher instead.

Chip.

They have been pumping up chicken meat in this way for years.
Have you ever bought a chicken and it has two holes on the breast ?. Thats where they pump the water in.

Simple solution - buy your meat from your local farm shop!

I know what theyve been doing to meat for years.
Thats why I buy my meat from a good butcher. Always think supermarket meat is no good anyway. Being wrapped up in cling film does it no good for a start.

Pity a few more people werent the same then perhaps standards would be better.
