Fun in Amsterdam at night.?

Apart from the "window shopping" etc are there any good bars/clubs for a good night out in central Amsterdam. Will be there on Thursday night.

Hi,
The sex shows are boring and an expensive rip off IMHO. A place I quite liked was in a Square (Rembrandt (spelling?) maybe). Anyway, it is called Smokeys. Thats a decent bar and huge supply of funny ****, been there a few times. Quite close to the train station there is a steak restaurant called Grasshoppers which is pretty nice for a decent steak. Also right bang in the centre there is a bar called EuroBar or something like that on a corner which is pretty good. We were a bit "loud" in there and they were fine.

British Bulldog Bar in the main Square, The Irish Pub also in the same place (has a big screen for sky sports events etc. plus good pool table and wicked table football!)
My favourite place - Bourbon Street Blues Bar (Live music every night)- Opens form 10PM till 5 AM - last time I went they had some wicked live bands on - although its a blues bar the bands cover stuff like radiohead / skunk anansie / rolling stones. Much like a small gig at home really.
