Under the recent Police Reform Act officers now have the power to seize and forfeit any vehicles used in persistent acts of reckless driving or riding. Dorset Police say they will use these powers.
I personally hate boy racers There's one in my new street, and I'm ready to take an axe to his fookin **** box car

Holton Heath has been a disaster just waiting to happen. It was just a case of which idiot was going to rap himself around a lampost first before this all came public knowledge.... plod have been monitoring for ages.

The residential area around where I am living in Sydney is used as a fookin' race track by the local boy racer *****. As early as 6am and late as 4am they are about - wheels spinning, racing around the corner, doing donuts, burnouts and revving their engines. FFS.
Unfortunately it is a common occurance and despite the clamp down blurb from the police about impounding/crushing cars - with severe penalty points on licences, there have been no sign of the police in the lasst three months to combat this.
If it gets any worse than it is now I will contact the local police and ask them what they can do.
Don't get me wrong, I am a petrol head and love cars! But there is a time and a place. Around a residential area at any time IS NOT the right time or place. Especially when there are kids about - which there commonly are during the daylight hours!
