as i have had lots of help on here before regarding all things guitar i thought i would try again
right my brother is after an amp he says it needs to be either 80W or 100W so has anyone got any handy hints or anything all info apreciated

depends what he wants to play....
if its loud rock stuff, then a marshall or peavy.
if its jazz, then a roland.
if its blues, get a fender tweed.
go to a guitar shop, they are usually quite indimidating places but if you've got a wad of cash in your hand, they turn quite helpful.
(i think they just get pi55ed off with timewasters)
musical instruments are quite personal things, so maybe get him to try and pick one.

PS I have a laney valve amp, which is a good all-rounder and british made of course!

ah well that except might be a problem erm hehe does anyone have one they want to sell he needs it for his first ever gig hehe so it dont need to be the best amp ever just good
