i remember reading about this sometime ago. someones child was given the task of using only 2s to make up number 1 - 20. can anyone remember the thread and point me in the right direction. were you only allowed to use 5 twos and if so i am stuck on 11, 13, 19

Didnt see the previous thread but im guessing it goes.....

22/2 = 11

(22+2+2)/2 = 13

and er...... B*llocks

i know, fecking hectic what they give kids to do nowadays. my day it was calculus, 2nd and 3rd order partial differtial equations....ohh and some long division thrown in for good measure. **** me who remembers how to do long division!!

Long division is easy when you know the secret.

Step 1. - Find calculator.


The bit of maths that always confused me was trig calculus. I could never figure out how it worked or why anyone needed to know about the rate of change of the rate of change of arctan. WTF if arctan anyway
