ok - into my 4th year in my subaru, 15 years driving, I reckon I'm a reasonable driver, but not a good one. I'd be kidding myself if I pretended I really knew how to control the car in skids and the ins and outs of cornering outside the limits of the car. New Sti8 is about to have its PPP and I'm aware that the car is much better than the driver. I've done a few track days which have been excellent but what I really need it some professional teaching. has anyone invested time in advanced driving courses / track days with proper one on one instruction / rally driving lessons etc. etc.? any recommendations? I'm not particularly price sensitive

I did one of his courses last year and had a great laugh and learnt a lot too. I would strongly recommend Don Palmer. Welll worth the cash

I did a day in an impreza at Bill Gwynne, it certainly taught me that scoobs don't go round corners unless you stand them on their noses!
