Have to say though, not having been a Sky subscriber or anything previously, for the one-off cost of the box (£100), the range of new channels available makes it a good deal in my opinion.
For anyone else dithering - i'd recommend getting one, fwiw.

Got any decent links for info?
I've used both satellite and terrestrial digital, and personally, I would go for satellite, as the program choice is better.
The picture quality is good on both, but the Electronic Program Guide (EPG) is better on satellite (on the ones I've seen).
IMHO.
There's some reasonable deals on satellite at the moment aswell.
No UKGold on Freeview either

i was thinking about buying one of these as in the last 2 weeks i've been getting at least 3 spam emails a day advertising a descrambler. This is supposed to let you view any channel which you can opt to pay for free....... anyone else had this email?
