Best thing to do would be to find the leak and plug it with some chewing gum.

Then cover the chewing gum with some superglue

For good measure stick some duct tape over the superglue that is on the chewing gum that is blocking the leak.

If you wanted to ensure a permanent repair then the addition of a bandage over the duct tape that is on superglue that is covering the chewing gum that is blocking the leak and you will be fine.

i'm sure its as stated above,

mixes with water, gets hot, comes to a cool environment (ie. a hole)
and then solidifies.

like the egg white or porridge trick.

if its for a bet, just make up some words like
aquatic thermalised inhibiting elasticising stabilised compound, or sommink..

To mend leaky car radiators temporarily, pour in contents of 2 oz. tin of mustard while car is running.
